SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off getting a physical release on Switch

SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off, which previously debuted on Switch only as a digital title, is now receiving the physical treatment. Most major retailers should be carrying it as an “Extra Edition”.
The physical edition includes a poster, along with new DLC. The DLC will involve New Kelp City and a comic book convention themed third world as players deliver dishes and defeat E.V.I.L villains in five Super Powered restaurants. The Costume Pack 1 DLC with four bonus costumes will be included as well.

Fire Emblem Engage introduces Brodia, Diamant, Alcryst

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems shared the latest information on Fire Emblem Engage today, specifically Brodia, Diamant, and Alcryst.
Brodia is a nation located in the north-west region of Elyos. Diamant is its crown prince while Alcryst is the second prince.

Boot up animation for NX, original name for Switch, has been revealed

Game preservationist Paul Kelly has revealed the boot up animation for NX, the console that eventually turned into the Switch.
Nintendo announced NX in March 2015 during the same event revealing its partnership with DeNA for mobile apps. The news was intended to assuage fears that the Big N was abandoning the console space.
Megaton Musashi X Japanese launch planned for December, new trailer and gameplay

Original (9/17): Megaton Musashi X will launch for Switch in Japan on December 1, 2022, Level-5 announced at the Tokyo Game Show today.
The original Megaton Musashi made it to Switch last November in Japan after it was revealed in 2016. For Megaton Musashi X, it’s a free-to-play version with various elements, including Season 2 of the story, player-versus-player online battles, and new mecha, characters, weapons, and stages. All content from Megaton Musashi and its six major updates will be included.

UK software sales for the week ending November 20, 2022 – Pokemon Scarlet / Violet have biggest boxed launch of the year

Original (11/20): We have the first sales data for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, courtesy of UK data shared by the GfK.
It turns out that these titles mark the biggest boxed game launch of the year. Opening week sales were four percent higher than that of FIFA 23, which was the previous biggest.

A final release date has come in for Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent in the west, and we also have news about a demo.
The strategy RPG will be available in both North America and Europe on December 9, 2022. It’ll be sold both physically and digitally.
