Pokemon GO New Year's 2023 event

Niantic has revealed a New Year’s 2023 event for Pokemon GO. This will be held between Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 8 PM to Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 8 PM local time. 

A number of in-game bonuses and features are planned. Here are some of the highlights:

A new update has now gone live for Pokemon Unit across all regions, bringing the game to version 1.8.1.4. This update makes some balancing changes to some of the Pokemon and their moves that are available in the game. Full details below:

Fire Emblem Heroes Shez: Sharpest Blades

Fire Emblem Heroes has revealed Shez: Sharpest Blades as its latest Legendary Hero. As many fans know, Shez is the protagonist of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.

The character is voiced by Dawn M. Bennett and has art by Noy. At 5 stars, her learnable skills include Asura Blades, Glimmer, Swift Slice, Seal Spd 4, and Atk/Spd Oath 4.

Pokemon GO 2022 Winter Holiday Part 2

Pokemon GO recently held the first portion of its 2022 Winter Holiday event, and Part 2 is just on the horizon. There aren’t any brand new Pokemon being added, but there are a few things planned.

Pokemon GO Community Day January 2023 Chespin

New details are in about the Pokemon GO Community Day for January 2023, which will put the spotlight on Chespin, the Spiny Nut Pokemon. This will be held between Saturday, January, 7, 2023, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.

Pikmin Bloom update 60.0

A new update has been made available for Pikmin Bloom, with the mobile game moving up to version 60.0.

There are a few notable aspects here. First up, new Mii costumes have been added. There’s also a new weekly lookback, quality of life improvements, fixes, and more.

Pokemon GO Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon

Starting today, Pokemon GO players can encounter Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon. All three creatures are in the game now.

Fire Emblem Heroes Holiday Handoff

Fire Emblem Heroes has revealed Holiday Handoff as its latest summoning event. It will feature Black Knight: The Night’s Blade (voiced by Robert Clotworthy, art by Yamada Kotaro), Dorothea: Yuletide Dancer (voiced by Allegra Clark, art by Mikuro), Annette: Festive Helper (voiced by Abby Trott, art by kiyu), and Cordelia: Unyielding Snow (voiced by Julie Ann Taylor, art by sachie).

The learnable skills for Black Knight include Solemn Axe, Black Luna, Distant Dart, Special Fighter 4, D/R Far Save 3. For Dorothea, her available skills are Sevenfold Gifts, Sing, S/R Far Trace 3, and Inf. Spd Tactic. Annette’s lineup is Peppy Bow+, Moonbow, Atk/Res Ideal 3, and Crafty Fighter 3. Finally, Cordelia can learn Inseverable Spear, Galeforce, Atk/Spd Clash 4, Flow Guard 3, and Def/Res Hold.

Pokemon Masters EX has received a handful of new Winter-themed events to celebrate the holidays. These include a brand-new story event, a new Seasonal Scout and Sync Pair for Jasmine, and some limited-time Expedition Areas and Locations being made available.

Pokemon GO has unveiled a Winter Holiday Part 1 event, which will see the debut of Mega Glalie (as well as Shiny Bergmite). This will be held between Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 10 AM to Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 8 PM local time.
