Fire Emblem Heroes

Nintendo has experimented with a couple of monetization models for its mobile games thus far. With Super Mario Run, you only need to pay once to unlock everything. Fire Emblem Heroes goes for a free-to-play approach instead.

Former Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima discussed how Nintendo goes about choosing the way in which it charges for mobile titles during its 78th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. He also reiterated the goal of spreading awareness of the company’s IPs and bringing consumers back to Nintendo hardware.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp continues to get a steady stream of additional content, which occurs fairly regularly. A couple of the new additions are as follows:

Fire Emblem Heroes

As noted a short while ago, Fire Emblem Heroes has been updated to version 2.7.0. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have since posted an in-depth summary of what’s new.

Here’s the full rundown:

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have revealed “A Sketchy Summer” as the latest event for Fire Emblem Heroes. Linde, Tiki, Takumi, and Camilla will be featured.

Along with the latest Special Heroes, there will be a new Paralogue Story as is usually the case.

Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes has received its latest update. On both iOS and Android, version 2.7.0 is available. Note that maintenance is currently taking place, so you won’t be able to open the app itself.

Fire Emblem Heroes will be hosting its latest summoning event next week. In an official notice, new Special Heroes are teased as shown in the silhouette above. The event will begin on July 10.

This weekend, Fire Emblem Heroes added in its latest Blessed Gardens map featuring Fountain of Wind. Special Maps: Rival Domains also received its regular update.

With Pokemon GO celebrating its second anniversary, Sensor Tower is taking a closer look at the game’s performance. The biggest stat is that revenue has surpassed $1.8 billion. Pokemon GO crossed the $1 billion threshold in January 2017.

Players worldwide continue to spend more than $2 million per day on the mobile title. Most revenue is from the US and Japan, where the two countries account for 34 and 28 percent of revenue respectively. Germany, Great Britain, and Taiwan stand at 5 percent, 4 percent, and 3 percent of revenue respectively.

Super Mario Run is hosting its latest event. For a limited time, the Bonus Game has increased the appearance of 5-star items. It’s your chance to obtain 5-star Mario, Peach, or Bowser statues, and more.

The event lasts until July 20.

Pokemon Quest

Pokemon Quest has surpassed 7.5 million downloads, The Pokemon Company announced today. That number factors in numbers on both Switch and mobile. For mobile, iOS and Android download are accounted for here.

Pokemon Quest previously reached 1 million downloads on Switch in less than two days.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is hosting a brand new garden event. Kapp’n has stopped by at the campsite, and he’s looking for the rare type of ladybug known as the dappledots. It’s your goal to collect them and give these bugs to the character.

By completing requests from Kapp’n, you’ll earn various rewards. Sunflower field has also been added as a campsite terrain to promote the event.
