GameStop hosting New Year’s digital sale for Switch and 3DS titles

Several Switch and 3DS discounts have gone live at GameStop as part of a New Year’s digital sale. The select lineup includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Octopath Traveler, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, Fantasy Life, and more.

Clock Simulator out on Switch next week

According to a listing on the European eShop, Clock Simulator is coming to Switch in just a few days. Kool2Play is publishing the game on January 10.
Clock Simulator is described as “a minimalistic rhythm game.” The Switch version will include a pair of exclusive competitive multiplayer modes.

Pang Adventures gets a surprise release on Switch today

Dotemu has announced the latest entry in the Pang franchise, Pang Adventures, for Switch. Even better, the game is launching today.
In Pang Adventures, players will visit a variety of locations across over 100 levels as they attempt to save the world from an alien invasion. There are new weapons including machine guns and flamethrowers in addition to three modes that support local co-op.

Trinelogy rated for Switch

The first Trine came to Switch a couple of months ago. Its two sequels are also planned for the near future, with the currently-in-development fourth title on the way.
Additionally, just a couple of days ago, Trinelogy was rated for Switch by PEGI. While we technically don’t have confirmation on what this is, it’s likely a bundle of the first three Trine titles as this product is available on Steam. What would be interesting to see is if Frozenbyte offered a physical version or if it’s only a digital release.
Frozenbyte has not yet provided release dates for Trine 2 and Trine 3 on Switch.
