Digital Foundry has put the new Switch version of Paladins to the test. What we learn is that, ultimately, Hi-ReZ Studios has done a great job with the port from a technical perspective.

Paladins manages to hit a mostly smooth 60 FPS on Switch. Despite a few small hiccups here and there, you’re getting a consistent frame rate for the most part.

A Fold Apart

Lightning Rod Games has been tinkering away on a new project A Fold Apart. While the “3D puzzle game about the emotional struggle of a long distance relationship set in a world of folding paper” is targeted for Switch, the developer is looking for some help from the community to help make the experience even better.

A campaign has opened on Fig where fans can support and pre-order A Fold Apart. Additional funding will “facilitate the development of additional paper folding mechanics, enhance the story through added animation and cutscenes, as well as enable the game to come to all major platforms at launch, including Nintendo Switch.”

Pocket Rumble

Pocket Rumble has finally secured a Switch release date. More than a year after it was originally announced, publisher Chucklefish has confirmed that the fighter is slated for July 5.
