Switch eShop

A few new games out came out this week on the various eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

Switch has been around for almost a year now. Over the past several months, many indie developers have stepped forward to share their success stories on the console. In a bunch of instances, Switch sales have even outperformed other platforms.

Super Meat Boy is one of the latest high-profile indie titles to hit Switch. And like some of those other titles we’ve been hearing about, it has also found success on Nintendo’s console.

Today, Choice Provision published a new trailer for the upcoming Switch game Space Dave!, which is due out “soon”. View the video below.

Next Up Hero

A new trailer has come in for Next Up Hero, which launches on Switch this spring. Have a look at the video below.

Poly Bridge has been updated once again on Switch. Version 1.1.0 is out now, making adjustments to the control scheme.

Due to player feedback, the gyroscope pointer implementation has been scrapped entirely. You can now play the game using the following:

– Dual Joy-cons using the thumb sticks (either attached or detached)
– Pro Controller
– Touchscreen

You can also switch seamlessly between using the touchscreen and the thumb sticks.

Darkest Dungeon

Thanks to a listing on the eShop, we have the file size for the new Switch version of Darkest Dungeon. You’ll need 2.3GB for the download.

Darkest Dungeon releases for Switch as a digital download on January 18. Touchscreen controls will be supported.

It’s worth noting that Amazon Germany recently listed a physical version of Darkest Dungeon for Switch. However, that has not yet been officially announced.
