Switch eShop

During a live stream on NicoNico today, Hamster announced the next wave of NeoGeo titles bound for Switch. The King of Fighters ’96, King of Monsters, Art of Fighting II, Power Spikes II, World Heroes 2, Samurai Shodown II, and 2020 Baseball have all been confirmed.

Hamster didn’t set official dates yet, but these titles could be released sequentially. We’ll keep you updated on the releases each week as we normally do in any case.

Coatsink Software announced a release date for the Switch version of Shu today. We can expect to see the 2.5D platformer on the eShop starting January 23.

The rogue-lite action-adventure Hammerwatch launches on Switch tomorrow. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

Tequila Works brought The Sexy Brutale to Switch last week. Although the game itself is generally considered to be quite good, unfortunately, the Switch port has not gone over well. We’ve been starting to hear that it’s plagued by technical issues.

Tequila Works is at least on the case. In a tweet sent out on the official Twitter account today, the studio promised that a patch is in the works to improve performance and resolution, and to address other problems.

Inversus Deluxe is doing very well on Switch. Hypersect told its fans on Twitter that the Switch version has already sold more copies than the Steam version. Thing is, the Switch edition has been around for ten weeks, while the Steam release popped up over a year ago.

Chucklefish is sharing new information about its turn-based strategy title Wargroove. The studio has started to show how some of the units look across all four of the game’s different factions.

The Soldier unit was introduced last week. This time around, we have an update on Archers.

Curve Digital has announced that an update is arriving for Human: Fall Flat on Switch today. It will be upgraded to version 1.2.

New functionality has been added to Human: Fall Flat. Once the patch is applied, local two-player player co-op can be played on a split pair of Joy-Con controllers, as well as two Joy-Cons per player, or a Switch Pro Controller.

Arc System Works has yet another title in the works for Switch. Next week, Simple Mahjong Online will be releasing on the eShop. It’s slated for December 21 with an 800 yen price point.

Earlier this year, Of Mice and Sand landed on 3DS. That same game is now coming to Switch with some extras as Of Mice and Sand: Revised.

The premise of the game involves handling a desert craft and its rodent crew on a ship. You can build facilities and make food for breeding the mice with different items. As the ship develops, more mice will join in, allowing for more jobs to be taken on. It seems that the Switch version will have new events, maps, and enemies.
