Minecraft Dungeons announced as next Nintendo Switch Online game trial in Europe

Nintendo EU and Nintendo UK have announced that Minecraft Dungeons will be the next Nintendo Switch Online game trial in that region. Subscribers can try the game out for free starting on August 18.

Earlier this year, SNK announced plans to offer a new DLC character for Samurai Showdown based on Guilty Gear. The company has now shared a teaser silhouette, which we have above.
The actual reveal will be taking place with a proper trailer. We’ll have it right here on the site once it goes live.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection made some compromises with resolution on Switch “in order to prioritize processing speed”

In a recent issue of Switch Player, Team Ninja boss Fumihiko Yasuda spoke about Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection in-depth, including the version made for Nintendo’s console specifically.
At one point, the magazine asked about about concessions that needed to be made. Yasuda highlighted the importance of response during gameplay – which is key for the fast-paced action of Ninja Gaiden. As such, Team Ninja made some compromises with resolution on Switch “in order to prioritize processing speed”.

This week’s Indie World Showcase was pretty darn packed with new games for Switch. There were brand new titles, ports, and plenty of new experiences to try out that same day.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Eastward, TOEM, Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon, Metal Slug Tactics, Tetris Effect: Connected, FAR: Changing Tides, Loop Hero, Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator, Gang Beasts, Astroneer, and LumbearJack were all featured. Axiom Verge 2, Boyfriend Dungeon, Necrobarista: Final Pour, Islanders, Garden Story, Slime Rancher: Plortable Edition, and Curious Expedition 2 all came out on Wednesday.
