Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Since the launch of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, there’s been plenty of talk regarding the possibility of DLC. There was certainly evidence of the possibility after voice clips for unused characters were datamined.

Today’s Nintendo Direct has now officially confirmed that DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is happening. Below are the full details:

Hades is getting a physical release, Supergiant Games has announced. It comes with a PC download code for the original soundtrack and a character booklet.

The physical version of Hades launches March 19.


Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja haven’t touched Ninja Gaiden since Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. Now, however, the series is making a comeback.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that all three main Ninja Gaiden games are coming to Switch. They’ll launch on June 10.

Square Enix has announced Project Triangle Strategy, a new tactical RPG for Switch. The game will launch in 2022.

A demo for Project Triangle Strategy goes live today. Feedback from the trial will be used to improve the final product.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville - Complete Edition

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville has been looking like a lock for Switch since retailers began to list the game last month. Today, EA and PopCap made the news official.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville – Complete Edition was announced for Switch during today’s Nintendo Direct. It’s set for release on March 19.

It’s been announced that DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power is heading to Switch. The game will launch on June 4.


Tales from the Borderlands is now official for Switch following a recent leak. Last weekend, the game was rated for Nintendo’s console by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee.

As revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct, Tales from the Borderlands will launch for Switch on March 24.

Miitopia

Nintendo is putting the 3DS game Miitopia on Switch, the company revealed during a Nintendo Direct presentation. The new Switch version will launch on May 21.

Miitopia first made it to 3DS in Japan at the end of 2016 and the rest of the world in July 2017. There will be some new additions for the Switch edition.

Legend of Mana

Following up on the success of last year’s Trials of Mana, Square Enix is again revisiting a past entry in the series with Legend of Mana. A remaster of the original action RPG was announced for Switch during today’s Nintendo Direct. You’ll be able to turn off enemy encounters, play a new mini-game, and more.

Legend of Mana originally debuted on the PlayStation back in 1999 in Japan, followed by 2000 in the west. This will be the game’s first appearance on a Nintendo platform.

Switch owners can get their hands on Legend of Mana starting June 24.

Samurai Warriors 5

Samurai Warriors 5 is in development for Switch, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast. A release is planned for this summer.

Samurai Warriors 5 is the latest addition to the hack and slash franchise. The previous entry in the franchise Samurai Warriors 4, came out in 2014. Samurai Warriors 5 marks a return of the series to Nintendo platforms.
