RICO update adds Hardcore Case Mode and Challenge Mode, Breakout DLC announced

Publisher Rising Star Games and developer Ground Shatter have announced that a new update is now available for RICO. Once the patch is installed, players can access the new Hardcore Case Mode and Challenge Mode.

Monkey Barrels, developed by Good-Feel, coming to Nintendo Switch next week

This week’s issue of Famitsu has an announcement for a new game from Good-Feel: Monkey Barrels, a top-down action shooting game for Nintendo Switch. You move your character with the left stick while aiming with the right stick. There will also be online multiplayer for up to six players.
This will be the first game that Good-Feel have published themselves. They’ve previously done a lot of contract work for Nintendo – their most famous games are Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Yoshi’s Woolly World and Yoshi’s Crafted World. The game will be released next week, on November 7. So far, it’s only been confirmed for a Japanese release.

Minecraft Dungeons was first imagined as a 3DS game

Minecraft Dungeons is hitting Switch and other platforms next year. As it turns out there, the game got its start on a different Nintendo platform.
Jens Bergensten, chief creative officer at Mojang, revealed in a recent behind-the-scenes video for the game: “it all started when we were trying to figure out a cool Minecraft-style game for the Nintendo 3DS.” “We toyed with a bunch of different ideas, but finally making a dungeon crawler was something that really struck a chord with us,” he said.
Minecraft Dungeons will retain its action-adventure roots when it comes to Switch in 2020. However, it’ll be a much different – and bigger – title compared to those early 3DS days.

Mary Skelter 2 won’t be released in Australia after classification refused

Mary Skelter 2 launched in most parts of the world on Switch last week. However, Australia is one region where the game won’t be released.
As it turns out, Mary Skelter 2 won’t be available in Australia as the age rating was not accepted. Publisher Idea Factory confirmed the news on Twitter. Additionally, the official classification page shows that the game’s classification was refused.
Those in Australia interested in buying Mary Skelter 2 for Switch can still do so by setting up a separate Nintendo Account a making a purchase in a different region.
