Lethal League Blaze

It’s unclear when exactly Lethal League Blaze will be available for Switch in the west, but the game did receive a release month in Japan today. The Japanese release is set for July, with a physical version following in September. Pricing is set at 2,000 and 3,500 yen respectively – the physical edition includes an unspecified bonus.

Level-5 has released quite a few new details on Yo-Kai Watch 4, as well as some new screenshots. We’ve rounded up the details below (credit goes to Gematsu for the translation):

First up, Level-5 has detailed the recently announced GeGeGe no Kitaro collaboration in Yo-kai Watch 4. The collaboration takes the form of a side quest, which has the Yo-kai Detective Team meet up with Kitaro and help him look for Medma-Oyaji, who has gone missing.

Konami released an overview trailer for Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball today, showing off a variety of gameplay modes, multiplayer, the amiibo functionality and more:

BitSummit, the annual Japanese indie game festival, is coming up pretty soon. It’ll be held on June 1st and June 2nd at Kyoto International Exhibition Hall Miyako Messe. While obviously not a indie developer themselves, Nintendo will nonetheless have a booth at BitSummit and exhibit some games from their indie partners. Today, they announced the first three games they’ll be showcasing, with more to be revealing in the coming days: Untitled Goose Game, Slay the Spire and Cuphead. Additionally, a wide variety of already released indie titles on Nintendo Switch will be playable at the Indie World Café booth.

The latest Fire Emblem: Three Houses character to be introduced on the game’s official Twitter account is Raphael of the Golden Deer. The son of a merchant family, he’s had a rough life as he lost his parents in an accident. He is nonetheless a very optimistic person. All he worries about is the cafeteria menu and how he can bulk up even more. However, it seems he has little interest in attending classes. He is voiced by Takaki Ootomari.

Intragames has announced that they will be releasing a physical version of Super Cane Magic ZERO in Japan on August 29th.

In addition, it is teased that pre-orders for this version will come with a “secret special bonus” and Switch-exclusive content. No other details on this were shared, however.

Team Sonic Racing launched earlier in the week, but word started to surface yesterday that the Switch was missing something. Unlike other platforms, the opening movie was cut.

One theory suggested that this had to do with cartridge size. Team Sonic Racing is about 7GB on Switch, and including the movie may have bumped things up beyond 8GB. If that was the case, SEGA would have to pay a higher amount for cartridges.
