Nintendo has announced a new partnership with Frito-Lay to add characters from some of its hit Switch games to the in-store packaging of various Frito-Lay Variety Packs. Beginning on March 25, the promotion will include package art featuring the three characters Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. Those who purchase the specially marked Frito-Lay Variety Packs will also have the chance to win a Switch system and three games selected by Frito-Lay.

Frito-Lay Variety Packs are giving away the Switch prize packs every hour between March 25 and May 19. Participants just have to look for the unique code on each specially marked package and enter the code at FLVPGameGiveaway.com for a chance to win.

A couple of trademarks already hinted at it, but Konami has now officially confirmed that Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution is coming to the West. It will be released as a Switch exclusive title this Summer in Europe and North America. Here’s the official feature list from Konami:

Konami has not yet announced if the game will receive a physical release in the West. In Japan, it’ll only be available as a digital download.

The Game Developers Conference 2019 is currently taking place in San Francisco, and as part of it, the industry honors its own with the Game Developers Choice Awards. Nintendo was awarded one of the prestiguous awards: Nintendo Labo won the “Innovation Award”.

World End Syndrome is heading to Europe on June 14. But what about North America? That’s no longer a question, as Arc System Works has announced a stateside release date of May 2.

Unfortunately, World End Syndrome will be digital-only in North America. However, PQube will be selling a physical version in Europe that can be played in any region.

World End Syndrome will cost $39.99 on the Switch eShop.

Microsoft delivered a speech at GDC 2019 today. During the event, future plans for Switch were briefly touched on.

One of the major announcements we heard about today was Cuphead for Switch. Not only is the game coming, but it should be updated to support Xbox Live in the future – including achievements. Apparently this won’t be a one time thing.

Arc System Works has announced that it will bring Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz to the west on May 16. Though it’s digital only, H2 Interactive will offer a physical version in Asia on May 23 which can be imported.
