All sorts of developers have stepped in over the past couple of years to port games to Switch. One such company is Engine Software. The team has helped bring several titles to Nintendo’s console, including The Caligula Effect: Overdose, Into the Breach, and Little Nightmares.
Next up from Engine Software is Ni no Kuni. It’s been confirmed that the studio is specifically behind that version of the game. On its website, Engine Software states that it is “proud to announce we are working with Bandai-Namco and Level-5 to bring their classic tale: Ni no Kuni – Wrath of the White Witch to the Nintendo Switch.”
Ni no Kuni will be available for Switch on September 20.

Oninaki will be a digital-only game in North America and Europe. In Japan, however, it’s a different story.
Square Enix will in fact be offering a physical version for Japanese fans. Thankfully, we now have confirmation that English will be supported. Fans can import a Japanese copy and play through the RPG much like they would with the digital version.
Play-Asia is currently taking pre-orders for the physical version of Oninaki. If interested, you can secure a copy here. Also, if you’re a fan of the game’s music, you can pick up the soundtrack here.

Nintendo on why it hasn’t given a release date for Luigi’s Mansion 3 yet
Posted on 5 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Almost every 2019 game featured in the E3 Nintendo Direct was given a release date. However, there was one notable exception: Luigi’s Mansion 3. Some fans might be wondering why we haven’t found out when it’s coming out yet.
Speaking with Polygon, Nintendo’s Bill Trinen said that Next Level Games is “putting a lot of care into the game. We want to let them put the care into it they want, so we’re waiting on them to let us know and we’ll solidify the release date.”
Having Luigi’s Mansion 3 ready for Halloween would certainly make a lot of sense. We’ll have to want and see if the next ends up meeting that release window.
