Horizon Chase Turbo

Aquiris isn’t done with its Switch racer Horizon Chase Turbo – far from it. Today, the studio shared an announcement detailing what’s planned as we approach the second half of 2019.

Playground Mode is getting a new focus, as players can earn exclusive prizes and gain access to new skins in special seasons. Aquiris has also teased new DLC involving “new cars, new campaigns, and more.” Finally, new modes have been teased.

Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package

Deep Silver is preparing for the release of Saints Row: The Third on Switch by releasing a series of gameplay videos that reminds fans about some of the game’s “best bits”. Footage was captured directly on Nintendo’s console.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Capcom today reported its latest financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019. During that period, net sales rose to 100,031 million yen, up 5.8% from the previous year. Operating income also increased to 18,144 million yen (up 13.1% from the previous year), ordinary income went up to 18,194 million yen (up 19.3% from the previous year), and net income attributable to owners of the parent expanded to 12,551 million yen (up 14.8% from the previous year).

Capcom also had a few encouraging things to say about specific titles once again. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate “enjoyed robust sales through its release in markets outside of Japan,” the company said. Additionally, Mega Man 11 and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection “performed well.”

Key has shared the opening movie for its visual novel Summer Pockets, which is due out in Japan next month. Check out the video below.

The Switch already has tons of otome visual novel games, and one more will soon be joining them. Gensou Maneji – Rêver d’un manège (“fantastical circus”, roughly translated) was announced today by Mages. Players take on the role of Emma with the goal of romancing one of six handsome men at a travelling circus. The game will be released sometime this year in Japan. A Western release hasn’t been confirmed so far.
