The Octopath Traveler remix album “Octopath Traveler Arrangements – Break & Boost” will be released in Japan next month, on February 20th. Today, Square Enix released a promotional video for the soundtrack album, showing the recording process as well as composer Yasunori Nishiki talking about the album. Even if you don’t speak Japanese, the video is well worth the watch since it also features a couple of previews of the remixed songs:

Nippon Ichi has opened a teaser site for their recently released title Murder Detective Jack the Ripper, while also sharing some more initial details.

Coming from the Amazon listings for the game, more information on the game’s premise, characters, and gameplay has been shared and fully translated by Gematsu.

The translation can be viewed below, along with some new key art, boxart, and a logo. The site can be visited here, along with a newly opened Twitter account here.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Animal Crossing moves all the way to #2, and Dragon Quest XI S enters the top five for the first time.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between January 10 and January 16.

Update 2: Video backup added below.

Update: Bandai Namco has taken down the trailer, but it should be back up later today. For now, here’s an image of Jiren and Videl:

Original: Today, Bandai Namco revealed FighterZ Pass 2 for Dragon Ball FighterZ. New characters are on the way, including Jiren, Videl, Broly (DBS), and Gogeta (SSGSS).

A couple of things are happening in the world of Nintendo within the next few days. Two deadlines are just around for corner.

If you’ve bought the physical version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now is your last chance to register the game on My Nintendo for free Piranha Plant DLC. Again, you need to do so by January 31. Nintendo will email you a code to redeem the DLC for future use a bit after the game has been registered. If you bought the digital version, no further action is needed.

Also, on January 30, the Wii Shop Channel is closing for good. Nintendo already removed the ability to add Wii Points last year, but if you have any extra points lying around, you’ll need to spend them before January 30. This move is also accompanied by the end of remaining video-on-demand services on Wii.
