Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

Update: All’s well that ends well. Bandai Namco US has confirmed that there will be no extra download, so both North America and Europe are safe.

Original: Earlier today, the Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Anniversary Bundle was revealed. Yet there’s one thing in particular that is causing Switch fans to worry a bit.

On the Switch boxart featured in the Anniversary Bundle beauty shot, there’s a banner that looks very similar to warnings we see about an additional required download:

The Walking Dead: The Final Season premiered on Switch last month. The next episode will arrive on September 25, Telltale Games announced today.

Here’s a trailer:

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will end with two more episodes after next week’s release.

Bandai Namco has revealed a special “Anniversary Bundle” for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. The package includes the game, three acrylics keychains for Yuri, Patty, and Flynn, a Repede metal case, art book, and exclusive diorama display case stage.

The new bundle is up for pre-order exclusively on Bandai Namco’s website here for $99.99.

Super Mario Party

New footage of Super Mario Party has emerged showing off classic board mode action on Switch. Check out 15 minutes of gameplay below.

It was recently announced that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to purchase new NES controllers for use with classic games on the system. We know that they work when the system is docked or in tabletop mode, but how about portable play?

USgamer decided to ask Nintendo that very question. In a statement, the company said that “the controller’s horizontal layout doesn’t lend itself to being used while vertically attached to the Nintendo Switch console.”
