Nintendo’s Treehouse stream at E3 is showing the new Challenge Mode DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This is the first footage we’re seeing of the content.

Interestingly, Nintendo has confirmed rumors of Shulk and Fiora appearing. In fact, both will be playable. Both act as Blades in the game.

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlights include Nelk and the Legendary Alchemists: Atelier of a New Land, Dragalia Lost, and Layton’s Mystery Journey DX. Scans of all games are below.

The second day of Nintendo’s E3 coverage will be kicking off in an hour from now. Expect the live stream below to start at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.

Nintendo doesn’t have any presentations or tournaments today. However, Treehouse Live will be back for many hours of streaming coverage. We’ll be breaking up the different segments on the site as they wrap up, and will share any notable news if there is any.

Nintendo has announced the next Splatoon 2 update for July. Two new weapons are on the way, which are literally known as Kugel Shriver and Explosher in Japanese.

Blade Strangers

Blade Strangers is launching sometime this summer in the west. As for Japan, a release date of August 30 was announced today.

Here’s a new trailer:

Blade Strangers will cost 4,000 yen physically and 3,700 yen digitally.
