Hammerwatch II release date

The Switch version of Hammerwatch II now has a release date. Today, publisher Modus Games and developer Crackshell confirmed its availability for December 12, 2023.

On the same day, fans will be able to pick up a a remastered version of the original Hammerwatch game, as well as a special digital bundle and physical edition, Hammerwatch II: The Chronicles Edition. The boxed copy includes both Hammerwatch titles plus additional character color palettes, facial items, and the character voice pack.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 tracks

Nintendo has provided the full rundown on the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6, including the release date and full lineup of tracks.

Wii Daisy Circuit was previously announced in a Nintendo Direct. On top of that, the latest wave includes Wii Rainbow Road, Tour Madrid Drive, GCK DK Mountain, Piranha Plant Cove, SNES Bowser Castle 3, Tour Rome Avanti, and 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World. Also don’t forget that Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii plus Pauline and Peachette from Mario Kart Tour will be added as new characters.

Neos Corporation has just announced the release date for Shin-chan: Shiro of Coal Town in Japan. The game is set to release in the region on February 22, 2024.

Alongside the release date, a Japanese Collector’s Edition for the game was also announced. It will feature a physical copy of the game along with a collectible pin, a picture book-style notebook (also acting as a flipbook), a 68-page artbook, physical soundtrack (alongside a download code for it), a theme song sheet, a papercraft train, a town map, and a sticker sheet.

Little Goody Two Shoes launch trailer

The launch trailer has come in for Little Goody Two Shoes a new horror narrative adventure game from Square Enix Collective and AstralShift. This one just landed on Switch.

Brotato physical

In partnership with Blobfish, Brotato is planning a physical release for Brotato on Switch. It will be available in Q2 2024.

A standard edition will be everywhere when it launches. On top of that, a special edition will be sold exclusively through the Strictly Limited Games online store. Copies include the game, a stress toy, and a double-sided poster.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Mr. Krabs, Zuko, Rocksteady, Iroh DLC

More news just dropped for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, including the reveals of Mr. Krabs, Zuko, Rocksteady, and Iroh plus the campaign trailer.

All of these new characters will be included in the season pass. The pass is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition. Fans can also purchase individual DLC characters for $6.99 each, and each one includes costumes.

Original (6/27): Publisher Microids and developer Mr. Nutz Studio have announced side-scrolling beat-em-up Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 will be coming to Switch. The title is set to release in November, although no precise date has been provided.

Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II delayed

Original (8/24): Aksys Games and Experience provided an update on Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II, revealing that the game has been delayed to February 2024. We should have a specific date closer to launch.

Previously, the title was planned to ship sometime this year. Aksys and Experience did not provide a reason for the updated release plans.

Deltarune creator Toby Fox has provided another update on the project, including news about launch timing once Chapter 4 is ready to go.

Fox confirmed that Chapter 3 “is pretty much content complete”. And since Chapter 5 is a long ways off, the plan is to let fans purchase the game once Chapter 4 – which already “has a very substantial amount of cutscenes and enemy work done” – is ready. Fox confirmed that a new producer has been hired to speed up the rest of development as well.
