The latest Splatfest in Splatoon 2 is going down this weekend in North America and Europe. We have some special art for the event from Nintendo above.

Players will be competing on one of two sides. Nintendo wants to know: what came first, the chicken or the egg?

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy was recently announced for Switch in Japan. Last week, the game’s localization was confirmed for Europe. Now we have news about North America as well.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will be available stateside on April 26 – the same day as other regions. It’s digital-only, as is the case in Europe.

In Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy, players will be able to experience Naruto’s saga through the Fourth Great Ninja War story arc and experience local competitive multiplayer and online 3D arena battles. Many DLC costumes will be included free of charge.

When you’re a big developer without a new game in over four years, fans are going to very much interested in what you’re working on. Case and point: Retro Studios. The company’s last original title was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, which first debuted in 2014.

While we still don’t have the big picture, some new clues point to a heavier narrative focus for Retro’s next title. The LinkedIn profile of one writer mentions the following:

Over on the official Nintendo UK store, pre-orders have opened for Nintendo Labo. You can reserve the different products here. These include the Variety Kit and Robot Kit, as well as the Customization Set.

According to IHS Markit’s analysis, roughly $8 billion was spent on Nintendo products in 2017. That’s about double what the Big N generated the year prior. The arrival of Switch, the SNES Classic Edition, and continued 3DS sales contributed to the increase.

IHS Markit indicates that Nintendo will have a larger share of the console market than Microsoft this year. In 2017, over $10 billion was spent globally on Xbox hardware, software, and services.

Koei Tecmo has prepared a brand new video for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition. View the game’s second trailer below.

Koei Tecmo has posted yet another video showing characters in their “Civilian Clothes” outfits. The latest one, featuring Annie Leonhart and Jean Kirschtein, can be seen below.

Nintendo will hold a new Nintendo Direct presentation tomorrow, the company has just announced.

The presentation will air at the following times:

– 2 PM PT
– 5 PM ET
– 10 PM in the UK
– 11 PM in Europe

Nintendo says that that the presentation will be about 30 minutes long, offering the latest information on both Switch and 3DS. Expect news on Mario Tennis Aces and more.
