SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy was unveiled for Switch this week. It was one of a few announcements made during the new Nintendo Direct Mini.
In both North America and Europe, NIS America will be in charge of publishing. The company published a message on Twitter stating that the game won’t have anything removed or replaced in the west, perhaps to ease concerns about possible censorship.
The tweet is as follows:
The content released globally will contain the same costumes and content. Nothing will be removed or replaced in the Western release. As for controls, it is more accessible for all players, and not just the hardcore fighting gamers 🙂 You will use your entire controller.

Rumor: New LEGO games on the way based on The Incredibles 2, DC villains
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch | 23 Comments
Comic Book is reporting on two new games Warner Bros. and TT Games have in development.
The first project carries the unconfirmed title “LEGO Incredibles 2” and is naturally based on Pixar’s upcoming film. There could be some truth to this, as a catalogue showcasing LEGO toy sets for 2018 leaked several months ago and mentioned an unannounced game linked to an unspecified Pixar property.

How Ys VIII ended up on Switch

This week, it was revealed during the Nintendo Direct Mini that Ys VIII is coming to Switch this summer. It’s a pretty big deal since Falcom’s series hasn’t appeared on a Nintendo platform in quite some time – it’s primarily been a PlayStation franchise as of late.
Interestingly, the Switch version of Ys VIII is not actually being handled by Falcom directly. NIS America is publishing the game in North America, while parent company Nippon Ichi will release it in Japan.

Kimishima on Switch’s momentum compared to Wii and more

We’ve heard Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima say that the new worldwide sales target for Switch this fiscal year is 20 million units. That would surprise the previous target by about 1.4 times.
Speaking with Mainichi, Kimishima said: “In order to be playable in the long term, the second year is crucial. Our task is to add more users, including people who barely touch game consoles.” He also said Nintendo has to expand the game library, take in new players, and raise the Switch as “a game console with long lifespan.”

Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch | 60 Comments
After a crazy week of anticipation and trolling relating to a possible Nintendo Direct, a presentation dropped out of thin air on Thursday. It wasn’t as big as some past presentations – no surprise there given the addition of “mini” in the name – but there were still some surprises.
Switch received all of the love this time around. Highlights included Dark Souls: Remastered, Mario Tennis Aces, The World Ends with You: Final Remix, and SNK Heroines ~Tag Team Frenzy~. We also now know that Hyrule Warriors, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and Ys VIII are all coming to Switch. New updates and DLC were announced for Super Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and Pokken Tournament DX were revealed as well. Finally, Kirby Star Allies, Fe, and Celeste were all dated.
What do you make of this week’s Nintendo Direct Mini? Were you pleased or disappointed with anything shown (or something that was absent)? Do you have a favorite announcement? Let us know in the comments below.
