NIS America is preparing a special bonus for Disgaea 5 Complete. If you pick up a physical version of the game, you’ll receive a reversible cover. This will be bundled with all copies of the game at launch.

Disgaea 5 Complete reaches North America on May 23. The European release is set for May 26.

Update: May 23 for North America, just announced at NIS America’s press event.

Disgaea 5 Complete had previously been targeted for Spring 2017 on Switch. Thanks to the latest issue of MCV, we now have a concrete date.

MCV has Disgaea 5 Complete down for May 26. We should point out that this news comes from a UK magazine, but we expect the North American release to be planned for around the same time, if not the same day.

NIS America senior associate producer Alan Costa told MCV:

“Both versions are the same. However, the Switch version features all the DLC from the PS4 version. We will definitely be emphasizing that all DLC can be found on the Switch version as well as highlighting that the game can be played at home or on the go.”

Bonus playable characters and new scenarios encompass the included DLC. The content “adds many more hours of content and strategy to the base game as well as allowing series’ fans to enjoy their favorites from past games.”

The NIS America Press Event live stream is about to begin. We’ll see the start of the show at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET / 3 AM in the UK / 4 AM in Europe. Due to it being on Twitch with autoplay, you can head past the break for the stream.

NIS America has indicated that a new 3DS title will be announced, which we expect is the localization of RPG Maker Fes. Also, we should officially be hearing about Disgaea 5 Complete’s release date.

With just two weeks to go, Nintendo’s first Switch titles have now been rated by the ESRB. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and 1-2-Switch both popped in the database today and are listed as E10+. We don’t usually cover ESRB descriptions, but we’re making an exception for Switch’s launch. And Zelda’s rating is… certainly interesting.

So first up, Zelda:

Much like GameSpot earlier today, Nintendo stopped by GiantBomb’s office to show off 1-2-Switch. The site’s full video is posted below.

Suda51 was one of a few third-party representatives on hand for the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017. He was there to announce plans for a brand new project on the new system featuring Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes.

Unfortunately, as many of you know, there were some translation issues with Suda51’s speech. In a new interview, he explained that a prompter was in place, but he “stuck to about 80% of the script.” Suda51 then formally apologized to the translator and wants to offer to fly him to Seattle for dinner. He also doesn’t anyone to give the translator grief about the situation.

It wasn’t all bad though. Suda51 noted that “Nintendo praised me and said it was a great presentation. Foreign people over here probably didn’t understand much of what was going on.”

Suda51’s speech did end up getting a proper fan translation a little while back. If you missed it, you can find the video right here.

Super Bomberman R will offer several different multiplayer options. On the game’s official website, these are fully detailed.

First, in terms of local play, up to eight controllers can be paired with Switch for an 8-player battle. Two controllers can also be paired to four Switch systems to again battle it out with eight players.

Super Bomberman R also supports online. By pairing two controllers to four Switches that are connected to the internet, you can participate in an 8-player battle here as well.
