Ninjala is adding fishing

GungHo is still heavily supporting the Switch exclusive Ninjala, and has now revealed that fishing will be added to the game. This will be added as part of Season 12.
Players will be able to fish at any place that has a large body of water like the ocean or lakes in the WNA Resort. Pole-and-Line Fishing, Surf Fishing (Bait), and Surf Fishing (Lure) options will be available. There’ll even be Fishing Missions, an Aquapedia, tournaments, and more.
Blossom Tales II details Switch physical release, including Deluxe Edition

In partnership with Playtonic and Castle Pixel, Limited Run Games has shared details about the previously-announced physical release for Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince on Switch.
A standard version and Deluxe Edition will be available. The former will be sold at various retailers, but the latter – featuring extras including trading cards and a poster – can only be obtained directly from Limited Run Games.
Spidersaurs details physical release

Limited Run Games has shared details about the upcoming physical release for Spidersaurs on Switch.
Two different versions will be offered: standard and collector’s edition. If you’re going for the collector’s edition, you’ll receive a retro box, the soundtrack, parking sticker, a Victoria concert poster with helpful tips and tricks on the back, and more.

DNF Duel Switch release date set for April, new trailer

Original (12/21): The Switch version of DNF Duel, which was only just announced this month, already has a release date. Publisher Nexon along with developers Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting confirmed that the fighter will be ready to go on April 20, 2023.
It was also announced that a new season pass is in the pipeline which will bring about five new DLC characters, which includes Spectre. Presumably this content will be offered on Switch.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet announce Tera Raid Battle with Hydreigon and Dragapult

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will soon be receiving a new Tera Raid Battle featuring Hydreigon and Dragapult. However, there’s a slight wrinkle to the event.
If you own Pokemon Scarlet, you’ll be able to take on Hydreigon. Those with access to Pokemon Violet will instead battle Dragapult. In both cases, raids will appear in 4 and 5 star Raid Battles.

Bayonetta 3 dev on maintaining Bayonetta’s characterization while adding “cuteness”

Bayonetta 3 lead facial animator Akifumi Sengan recently gave some insight into what it was like working on the game, including character designs.
With Bayonetta herself, Sengan pointed out how she has a new hair style for this title. The new entry also introduced a “cute” theme. That meant Sengan had to maintain the type of characterization Bayonetta is known for while also bringing along “that additional layer of cuteness.”

Suda51 reflects on his appearance Switch presentation reveal

No More Heroes creator Suda51 has looked back on his appearance at the Nintendo Switch Presentation in 2017. He was one of a few developers that took to the stage and teased what would eventually turn out to be Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. We later saw No More Heroes 3 from Suda51 as well.

Type-Moon and Koei Tecmo just announced Fate/Samurai Remnant. The upcoming project was revealed during the Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special 2022.
The game is officially described as an action RPG. Other than that, not much else is known. However, we do have the first teaser trailer below.
