Front Mission 1st: Remake is going the extra mile by including Classic and Modern game modes. In a tweet published earlier today, Forever Entertainment detailed what’s featured in each and the differences between them. We even have a little bit of gameplay.
With the Classic mode in the game, players can expect the soundtrack without any significant alterations, the original camera view, and essentially the same experience as the original. Meanwhile, Modern mode is where more of the remake aspect comes into play with a remastered soundtrack, perspective camera view, and more freedom with the camera thanks to the ability to change the rotation and pitch. On top of that, the team has implemented small fixes and improvements when playing in Modern.

Sonic Frontiers reviews roundup

Sonic Frontiers is about to release five years after the previous mainline 3D entry in the series, and reviews are now starting to come in. We’re hoping to have our own verdict eventually, but we’ll note that SEGA hasn’t shared a Switch code with us yet.
Sonic Frontiers is the first entry in the series to use the open zone concept, which Sonic Team hopes will be the next core pillar of the franchise with Takashi Iizuka saying it’s “that next step for the next 10 years.” Players can now explore a number of huge islands, but those looking for more traditional levels can venture through the Cyber Space stages. There are other new elements here including totally redone combat, a skill tree system, and more.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are kicking off the week with its latest character introduction for Fire Emblem Engage, and we’ve now got a look (and some information) at Etie. Serenes Forest managed to provide a translation of what was shared on the official Japanese Twitter account.
Etie, who is voiced by Tomomi Mineuchi in the Japanese version, is a palace knight from the Kingdom of Firene. She’s a noble lady who exudes elegance and also has a positive and active personality. Her main hobby is body-building as that’s what she devotes all her time to.
