White Day: A Labyrinth Named School trailer

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School has been released on Switch, and we have a new trailer to celebrate. Fans can get another look at the cult-classic Korean survival horror game.

Here’s an official overview with more details:

Temtem Pokemon

As a creature-collection game, Temtem has seen a number of comparisons to Pokemon. Crema, the studio behind Temtem, has now weighed in on those comparisons.

In an interview with Nintendo Everything, Crema’s Lucía Prieto said that the team actually finds those comparisons “healthy to a degree.” However, the developer feels it’s necessary to say that “Temtem is not backed up by 25 years of learning, progressing and developing, and that we’re a much smaller IP who hasn’t branched out beyond game development.”

Sonic Frontiers content

Sonic Frontiers will have the most amount of content in a game the series has seen so far, according to Sonic boss Takashi Iizuka.

Iizuka shared that news in an interview with Everyeye. He also mentioned wanting to make Starfall Islands “stimulating” for players with various elements while exploring.

Eldest Souls physical

Limited Run Games will soon be offering a physical version of Eldest Souls on Switch, the company has announced. Only a standard version is planned – there are no special editions.

Eldest Souls was announced in March 2020 and made its debut on Switch last July. Up until now, the game has only been sold digitally on the eShop.

Marvel's Midnight Suns Live Among Legends

NBA 2K23 gameplay

NBA 2K23 just arrived, and we have an early look at the Switch version with new gameplay. Eight minutes of footage shows a match between the Warriors and Celtics.

Find some information about NBA 2K23 in the following overview:

Original (8/31): According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, a Nintendo Direct could air during the week of September 12. September 14 could be the most logical date based on when prior presentations have taken place and the fact the Tokyo Game Show will begin on September 15 in Japan. Grubb believes that the Nintendo Direct is planned for September 13 or 14 – depending on the time zone you’re in.

As for what the new Nintendo Direct will contain, Grubb thinks that “there’s going to be a lot of Zelda stuff” and “it will be a Zelda blowout”. Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD for Switch, which have been previously rumored, are thought to be making an appearance plus potentially Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Another possibility (but keep in mind Grubb doesn’t confirm its presence) is the Metroid Prime remaster – something else that there’s been speculation about.
