Into the Breach physical

Fangamer is preparing a physical version of Into the Breach for Switch, the company has revealed.

The title previously made it to Switch in 2018, though only in digital format. This is the first time it will have any sort of physical version. Each copy comes with a cartridge, game manual, sticker sheets, and folded poster.

A Plague Tale: Requiem has secured a final release date on Switch. It will be out on October 18, publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Asobo Studio confirmed today.

A Plague Tale: Requiem was confirmed for Switch last June. We previously had a vague 2022 release window.

Dead Cells Breaking Barriers update 1.19.0

The latest Dead Cells update, known as “Breaking Barriers”, (or version 1.19.0), has now gone live on Switch.

There’s a bunch of elements for today’s update, including an array of accessibility options. Players can now access an Assist Mode for tailored, specific tweaks to elements of the game.

Sonic Origins is finally here, and SEGA is celebrating with one last look at the collection. As a reminder, the package includes Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD.

Alice Gear Aegis CS Concerto of Simulatrix customization

Mages today issued a new trailer for Alice Gear Aegis CS: Concerto of Simulatrix, which provides a look at how character customization works in the 3D battle action game.

Customization is available each Actress’ shot gear, cross gear, top gear, and bottom gear, as well as each gear’s color and the Actress color. Over 200 pieces of equipment are available to mix and match in the title.

MLB The Show 22 update 1.09

It’s time for another MLB The Show 22 update on Switch, as the game has moved up to version 1.09.

Today’s patch largely includes fixes, including one specific to Nintendo’s console. That’s along with Minor League players wearing number 42 on Jackie Robinson Day, the addition of the Nike City Connect Milwaukee Brewers uniform, and commentary adjustments.

No Man's Sky release date Switch

No Man’s Sky has received a final release date on Switch, with Hello Games revealing that the port will be ready to go on October 7, 2022.

For those that haven’t been keeping up with the title, No Man’s Sky is a science fiction exploration experience that takes place in a procedurally generated universe. It has an almost infinite number of never-before-seen planets and star systems to explore, each one teeming with life to be discovered. The game features exploration, crafting, building, trading, and fighting.

Mages revealed today that it will publish Tachyon’s shoot ’em up games Bullet Soul and Bullet Soul: Infinite Burst on Switch. Both titles are lined up for release on September 9, 2022, though Japan will be getting them slightly later on September 22.

Here’s an overview of both games:

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles was previously confirmed to be receiving five additional DLC character packs, with the first of these featuring the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui. It’s now been confirmed through a Gematsu translation of the latest issue of Weekly Jump that this first wave of DLC will be available this July.

The remaining four character packs will be released sometime in 2022, with specific details to be made available at a later date. An “All Sets Bundle” will also be made available for players who wish to obtain all of the DLC at a slight discount.
