It’s taken a bit of time for retailers to start catching up, but following the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, fans can now start to pre-order titles shown during the event. The presentation had a few brand new announcements as well as updates on previously-known projects.
We’ve started our roundup pre-order products for the February 2022 Nintendo Direct below. We’ll also suggest folks check out out weekly pre-order update posts that are posted every Sunday.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land “Take It All In” commercial

Koei Tecmo and Gust are celebrating the release of Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream with a new launch trailer. The title released yesterday in Japan and is out worldwide as of today.

A new update is out now for R-Type Final 2 (version 1.2.0). This update adds a lot of new ships and improves some stability.

Pokemon Unite and Mario Golf: Super Rush win DICE awards

The 2022 DICE Awards Ceremony has just ended, and a couple of Switch exclusive games have won honors. This year Pokemon Unite, developed by TiMi Studio Group and The Pokemon Company, came away with the title of Mobile Game of the Year.
Additionally, Mario Golf: Super Rush, developed by Camelot, claimed the mantle of Sports Game of the Year.
These awards are great honors for the games and their development teams, and all of the award winners (including some more Switch games) can be found in the list below.

Shadow Man Remastered getting a physical release on Switch

Limited Run Games has announced that Shadow Man Remastered, which landed on the Switch eShop not too long ago, is now getting a physical release.
Fans will be able to order either a standard version or “Classic Edition”. The latter version includes a physical copy of the game, Shadow Man Classic Edition Box, non-function cartridge for display, a double-sided poster, and official soundtrack.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 announces Midnight as new DLC character

Midnight will be added to My Hero One’s Justice 2 as the game’s latest DLC character, it’s been announced. Japanese magazine Weekly Jump shared the news exclusively.
My Hero Academia fans also know Midnight as Nemuri Kayama. By using her Quirk, she can make people around her sleep, though it had a stronger affect on males.
