With the system’s small install base, that number does make sense.

At Japan Expo this week, GameReactor caught up with Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma. The discussion included talk about Breath of the Wild and Zelda in general.

Regarding Breath of the Wild, Aonuma reflected on the game’s reaction and those who say that the final boss was too easy. He also spoke in (very) vague terms about the next main Zelda – wanting to include HD Rumble, but it’s a long way off. Also, Aonuma basically said that Link is ambidextrous.

We’ve included what we feel are the more notable comments from Aonuma below. The full interview is on GameReactor here.

How much has Splatoon evolved visually from the first game to the sequel? When you really start to look at things and compare, it’s a pretty noticeable upgrade. You can see for yourself just how much the graphics have improved with the video below.

At the Zelda Masterclass panel at Japan Expo in Paris, producer Eiji Aonuma revealed that Link is still the playable character in the upcoming Champions’ Ballad DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, while Zelda or the Champions might not be playable, you will still learn more about them while playing the DLC. A brief in-development gameplay clip of the DLC was released, which you can check out below:

Furthermore, Link’s famous lobster shirt from The Wind Waker will be one of the pieces of armor that will be part of the DLC.

Smash Bros. will once again be featured at this year’s Evo, one of the world’s largest eSports events. Melee will be around as usual, as will Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The two titles will be represented during the latter two days of Evo. Smash Bros. Melee will be closing out the festivities on Saturday night (July 15). Then on Sunday (July 16), it’ll be Smash Bros. Wii U’s turn, right before Street Fighter V and the end of the entire event.

Smash Bros. Wii U and Smash Bros. Melee were second and third in the registration voting, just behind Street Fighter V. 1,515 people signed up to play on Wii U while 1,435 intend to fight in Melee.
