German website Gameswelt, in collaboration with Nintendo, will be hosting a tournament at Gamescom for the new Smash Bros. Gameswelt is currently seeking three commentators who will receive a free pass to the expo and a copy of the games for Wii U/3DS. Yesterday, Nintendo confirmed a delay for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker in Europe. While North America and Japan will be getting the game towards the end of this year, it won’t be out in Europe until January 2015.

When asked to comment on the delay, Nintendo said:

“To make the best launch timing possible in Europe, it is now confirmed that Captain Toad: TT is delayed in Europe until January 2015.”
