Nintendo has continued to tease the final Splatfest for Splatoon 2 next month with new images and details of all Shifty Station variations that will be part of the event’s rotation.

As confirmed previously, all previous variations of Shifty Station will appear and be playable throughout the first two days of the event on a two-hour rotation.

However, the last day will feature a new variation of the map apparently called “Dear Senpai”, which was designed by Pearl. Added Octo Expansion elements such as the Pearl Bomb and Senpai Cannon will be present in the map, with both Pearl and Marina appearing sometime during the game.

Images of the variations — as well as teasers for the final map — can be viewed below.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen PlatinumGames show continued interest in The Wonderful 101 and possibly revisiting the title on Switch. Unsurprisingly, that hasn’t changed.

PlatinumGames boss Atsushi Inaba again spoke about the company’s love for The Wonderful 101 in an interview with VGC. He also said that the studio has “done a lot of intel gathering and the only thing that I can say right now is that I’m glad we did.”

Daemon X Machina’s demo ended up working out very well for the game. Marvelous was able to field feedback from a ton of users who tried it out, resulting in many improvements. You can see what was changed in a recent trailer here.

One aspect not pointed out in the video concerns a technical improvement. According to director Kenichiro Tsukuda, the frame rate has been improved since the demo’s release. We won’t know how the game holds up until we’re closer to release, but it should be smoother than what players experienced previously.
