Nintendo has announced results from sales generated between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, and has set a couple of records in the process.

First up, the company has highlighted a couple of sales records for Switch. It’s now the best-selling console in the U.S. for that five-day period having topped the Wii. It also had the best-selling week ever in the United States.

Splatoon 2 has already received one art book in Japan. In about a month from now, a second one will be available.

Nintendo has announced that the Inkopolis Walker book will launch in Japan on December 28. It’ll primary focus on the Octo Expansion, but will also have additional content released in the main game itself. Fans can look forward to more art, manga drawn as storyboards for the Octo Expansion, band member biographies, interviews, and more.

Those who pick up the book from the ebten store will get a double-sided poster. It has a picture with all the shoes found in Splatoon 2 on one side, and a picture of Toni Kensa clothes on the other side.

Koei Tecmo has unveiled a brand new Bridge Melee mode for Warriors Orochi 4. Set to go live tomorrow, players will be racing against the clock as they attempt to knock off as many soldiers as possible before they’re tossed off or the timer ends.

To kick off the World of Light mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we see the game’s characters vaporized by mysterious beams. Almost everyone is taken down – except Kirby. Kirby manages to escape, and that’s where the adventure mode really begins.

In a Famitsu column this week, director Masahiro Sakurai addressed Kirby’s initial survival in World of Light. He commented on a few other topics related to the game as well.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Nintendo has come forward with official confirmation on the singers for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate theme song. Two different musicians handled the Japanese and English versions.

In Japanese, the vocals are done by Erina Koga. Abby Trott sings in the English version of the theme.

Famitsu has a new report on the recently-announced Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX for Switch. Specifically, we have news about new features that weren’t originally present in the initial PlayStation 4 release.

The magazine reports that Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX will have:

Capcom and Konami have their fair share of representation in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Both companies have playable characters, Assist Trophies, and more.

Nintendo has come out with another piece of music from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Today’s song is the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 Trailer BGM for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Ryo Nagamatsu worked on the arrangement for the track. Nagamatsu has been involved with the soundtracks for a number of Nintendo titles since 2006, including Super Mario Galaxy 2, Nintendo Land, Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and more.
