New Switch features and games teased for SEGA Ages, plus history of the name and logo

The latest edition of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream included a small interview with SEGA Ages lead producer and director Rieko Kodama and supervisor Yousuke Okunari. They discussed the history of SEGA Ages’ name and formation, including why they went with a new logo for the upcoming Switch release. In addition, they reconfirmed their steady schedule of monthly releases and teased some new features and new games.

Gamescom Awards 2018 nominees announced

The nominees are in for this year’s Gamescom awards.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is nominated, though only once due to the way the categories are organized. The same goes for Super Mario Party. Team Sonic Racing and LEGO DC Super-Villains have two nominations.

Snake Pass physical version announced

Snake Pass is the latest Switch game announced to be receiving the physical treatment. Sumo Digital just shared the news on Twitter.
Sumo is teaming up with Super Rare Games on the physical version. Further information will be shared in the future.

Today, the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Twitter account shines the spotlight on another character in the upcoming Torna – The Golden Country DLC: Mihkail. If you’ve played Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you will of course be familiar with Mikhail as one of the members of Torna, the organisation opposing Rex and friends. In The Golden Country, however, he is much younger. An orphan, he meets Lora in a place ravaged by war, and the two of them end up traveling together.
