Update (11/30): Disney Speedstorm has been delayed to 2023, Gameloft just announced.

The company shared a statement about the situation on social media. Gameloft noted that the decision was made to meet its expectations and ensure it can provide “a fast-paced and competitive racing experience they will return to play for years to come”.

Disney Speedstorm was announced for Switch during a Nintendo Direct in February. It was originally planned for this past summer.

SEGA has issued a new update for Sonic Frontiers on Switch, bringing the game to version 1.1.1.

This week’s update seems mostly small in nature. According to SEGA, only two issues have been addressed on Switch.

The official patch notes for the Sonic Frontiers version 1.1.1 update are as follows:

Byleth makes an appearance in Fire Emblem Engage as one of the characters players can summon, and details about him have now been shared on the series’ Japanese Twitter account. Serenes Forest provided a translation.

Byleth, who is voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi in the Japanese version, is a former mercenary and now acts as an instructor at the Officer’s Academy. In Fire Emblem Engage, he can increase the abilities of allies to guide them towards victory. Byleth performs the best when surrounded by allies rather than being alone.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have brought back Barboach, and we now have information about the location of this surprisingly elusive Pokemon.

With the release of the version 1.1.0 for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, it seems that Game Freak may have improved performance.

Many who have tried out the Switch games have been pleased with the actual game experience. However, performance has definitely been a sore spot. Putting aside actual graphical quality, frame rate dips and stutters were present throughout. However, as mentioned above, it looks like performance has started to see an improvement.

The new Veronica figure for Fire Emblem Heroes was only just announced a few days ago, but we already have news about its release date and pre-orders along with new photos.

A new update has just been made available for the Switch version of Hokko Life.

A big part of the patch is an improvement to performance issues, though bug fixes have been implemented as well. Team17 says the team has “been working on the issues surrounding save game storage getting full and improving the messaging around them.” Another update is also in the works “where players will be able to manage their created items and control their save space usage.”
