If there is any franchise equipped to do this in modern times, however, it would be Story of Seasons – one of the oldest and largest farm sim series that has been around since the SNES, and has seen several installments as well as spin-offs such as Rune Factory over its lifetime. Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom is another such offshoot, taking the traditional Story of Seasons gameplay and blending it with the world of Doraemon, which is an extremely iconic franchise in Japan. But is this a match made in heaven?
Takaya Imamura has revealed that he’s making a Switch project based on his new manga called Omega 6, which just saw its debut this week.
Imamura previously spent over three decades at Nintendo before leaving at the start of 2021. He worked on a number of high-profile series and games such as Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Smash Bros., Star Fox, and F-Zero. His designs include Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Captain Falcon, and much more.

A physical version of Let’s Play! Oink Games is in the cards, it’s been revealed.
As of now the boxed edition has only been announced for Japan. However, aside from Japanese, it will also support English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese languages. Switch is region-free, so any person can import a copy and play it on their Switch regardless of region.
No More 500 is putting the visual novel Suhoshin on Switch, the studio has announced. A release is lined up for January 12, 2023.
Suhoshin previously released on PC, and we’re told that after the Steam launch, it was recognized and praised in Korea for its high level of details on ancient Korean culture. You can read all about the title below.
