Publisher Flyhigh Works and developer Oimoland have announced that they’ll be bringing Shirone: The Dragon Girl over to Switch. The game will release on the platform through the eShop on September 29, 2022.

Shirone: The Dragon Girl is a 3D adventure game in which you must guide titular protagonist Shirone out of a haunted castle. You do so by solving a variety of puzzles that impede her escape, all while avoiding the monsters lurking in the halls.

Kogado Studio has just announced that two games in the Tristia series, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea: Legacy and Tristia: Restore, will be making their way to Switch.

The first of these, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea: Legacy, is a remaster of the 2002 PC original, Tristia of the Deep-Blue Sea. It’s a town-management simulation game in which you must rebuild the titular town of Tristia that was brought to ruin by a dragon attack several years prior. You do so by building a variety of tools and gadgets which you then sell back to the people of Tristia.

Square Enix announced a slew of new Switch games this week, and the pattern continues with PowerWash Simulator.

The soothing sim title, developed by FuturLab, launched this past summer on Xbox platforms and PC. The power of relaxation is placed into the hands of players, and they can unlock new tools and upgrades to help clean more efficiently.

GameXplain has shared a new graphics comparison for the Switch and PS5 versions of It Takes Two.

Following previous rumors that EA was planning a port of the game for Nintendo’s console, the news was made official this week. An announcement was delivered during the new Nintendo Direct on Tuesday.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have just come out with a new Feh Channel presentation for Fire Emblem Heroes.

The video starts off with a look at Rearmed Heroes and Arcane Weapons, which differentiate them from other Heroes. Various celebrations are planned around this. We also learn that new Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will be added to the game as part of an event that kicks off later this week. Finally, details are shared about the next update planned for October 4, 2022.

At the 2022 Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix debuted a new trailer for Dragon Quest Treasures. Fans can get a new look at the RPG treasure hunting adventure title.

Playism is working on a Switch version of the slapping battle game Rose & Camellia, the company announced today. A release window is not yet determined.

Rose & Camellia was originally a Flash game that later appeared on mobile. Nigoro, the creator of La-Mulana, came out with the title initially in 2017. 

Success today unveiled Akai Ito & Aoi Shiro HD Remaster, a bundle containing a pair of mystery visual novels. A release is planned for 2023 on Switch in Japan.

Akai Ito first made it to the PlayStation 2 on October 21, 2004 in Japan. Aoi Shiro then debuted on April 5, 2008, also as a Japan-only title.

Despite some fans hoping it would happen, the Yakuza series has stayed off Switch. That doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon, with executive producer and Ryu Ga Gotoku studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama now weighing in.

Yokoyama spoke with GameSpot about the situation, explaining that the two are a mismatch. He feels Switch is considered to be more family-friendly in contrast to the underground attitude of the Yakuza series.
