After impressively selling over ten million copies in just three days, trainers around the world have been exploring Generation 9’s new Paldea region in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. With a completely different open-world and open-choice approach to the longstanding and rather traditional series formula, the new games aren’t afraid to break the mold. How does this completely different take on Pokemon work out for the modern player, not to mention series veterans that have been around since before Pokemon GO took the world by storm? A new session of maintenance has been added to Nintendo’s schedule for the week. In a few days, there’ll be a bit of downtime involving Nintendo Switch Online on the home menu.
The full maintenance schedule is as follows:

– 1 AM in the UK (December 8) – 4 AM in the UK (December 8)
– 2 AM in Europe (December 8) – 5 Am in Europe (December 8)
OU will not be launching this year as previously planned, as G-Mode along with room6 have announced that it has been delayed to Spring 2023.
The project was first announced in 2021 and was on track to release that year. However, a few months later, it was delayed to 2022. Today marks the second delay for the game.
Publisher Sekai Project and developer illuCalab are teaming up to bring Alice Escaped! to Switch, the companies revealed today. A release date has has not yet been announced.
Alice Escaped! is a Metroidvania game focusing on “the adventures of Usada and Kotora, who have wandered into a strange wonderland of grimoires and must chase after a mysterious girl named Alice in order to return to their own world.” More information is available below.
A final release date has been shared for Drainus on Switch. The shoot ’em up game will arrive on February 2, 2023, publisher Playism and developer WSS Playground announced today.
Drainus was previously confirmed for Switch in September. There was no word on launch timing at that point.

Thanks to Playism and Lizardry, we have a release date for the Switch version of 7 Days to End with You . The two companies announced today that the title is hitting Nintendo’s console on January 26, 2023.
7 Days to End with You was only just confirmed for Switch last month. We were given a vague winter release window at the time.
Publisher Playism and developer GeSEI unkan have determined a release date for Drago Noka. The game will be hitting Switch on January 12, 2023, the two sides revealed today.
Drago Noka, a simulation experience, was made with the Wolf RPG Editor and comes from the team behind Wandering. You can find information about the game in the following overview:
Yet another piece of content is now available in Human: Fall Flat, with the Switch version now adding the Tower level. All players can access it after installing the new version 1.5.7 update.
Tower is a level created by Fennecai and brought to life by the team at No Brakes Games. This was the winning design for the game’s fifth anniversary competition. The level is said to be “an exciting and adventurous design that challenges the law of physics more than ever”. You can try to ascend the soaring spire and make it to the top, but beware that the floor is lava.
