Today, publisher Phoenixx and developer Twilight Frontier announced that they’ll be putting Touhou Gouyoku Ibun: Suibotsushita Chinshuu Jigoku on Switch. The game is due out on Switch this fall in Japan.
Touhou Gouyoku Ibun: Suibotsushita Chinshuu Jigoku originally came to PC in October 2021. It’s a bullet hell platformer that’s officially labeled as the 17.5th in the Touhou Project series.
Mother 3 originally came out for the Game Boy Advance, but only in Japan. Since then, fans in the west have been clamoring for an English release.
Shinichi Kameoka, the producer of Mother 3, recently shared his own thoughts as to why the game has never been localized. As part of a Q& with the Kit & Krysta Podcast, he said:
