Niantic has put out a new version 41.0 update for Pikmin Bloom on iOS and Android. The update mostly addresses existing bugs but has also added a small hint system during loading screens and tweaked the skip function when making new Pikmin.

We have new information about Coromon, the upcoming modern monster taming game, thanks to publisher Freedom Games and developer TRAGsoft with the two companies sharing information about a built-in “Nuzlocke” Mode, accessibility difficulty options, cross-save, multiplayer, and more.

For the “Nuzlocke” mode, players are given a strict ruleset. This includes having only one Coromon per area that is catchable, no running from battles, no teleporting items, and after a creature faints in battle, it doesn’t wake back up.

A new update for Mario Party Superstars has just gone out for Mario Party Superstars, with Nintendo releasing version 1.1.1. It includes a few fixes as well as an online adjustment.

Original (3/19): For the past few days, the Wii Shop Channel has been experiencing major issues. Right now it seems impossible to access the digital store at all.

At startup, you’ll likely be presented with what’s more or less a blank screen. Sit there long enough and you may then encounter an error code as well. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that can be done other than returning to the home menu manually.

Today, publishers PQube and Toge Productions as well as developer Mojiken Studio debuted a new trailer for A Space for the Unbound. It shows off the latest development progress for the slice-of-life narrative adventure game.

Publisher Klabater and developer Foolish Mortals Games have announced Kaiju Wars, a 2D pixel art turn-based strategy game. Switch will be getting the title sometime in 2022.

Kaiju Wars has players taking on an infestation as the outclassed military. A chief scientist is working on an anti-monster serum, but since it’s not quite ready yet, the monsters will need to be kept at bay.

Publisher Merge Games and developer Affordable Acquisition today announced Slaycation Paradise, a mashup of twin-stick shooting action and tower defense. The two sides have not yet set a release window, but we have confirmation that it’ll be landing on Switch.

Tuatara Games today unveiled Bare Butt Boxing, a comically chaotic multiplayer brawler. While it will initially hit Steam Early Access in Q4 2022, the proper launch – which will include a Switch version – is planned for 2023.
