A new video has come in for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion that serves as a graphics comparison. With it, we’re able to see just how much this version of the title compares to the original.
The video goes to show just how much effort Square Enix is putting into Reunion. The company did say that everything is now in HD – as you’d expect – and the models have been upgraded. It seems to go even beyond that, though.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate saw partnerships with a bunch of different games and franchises, including Cuphead. Although the character wasn’t a DLC fighter, he did appear in the form of a Mii Fighter costume. Additionally, a spirit based on the run and gun action title was offered to players. Having any sort of representation is a dream come true for many developers, and Studio MDHR is no different.
While speaking with Nintendo Everything about the upcoming Delicious Last Course DLC for Cuphead, Studio MDHR executive producer and studio director Maja Moldenhauer also talked a bit about the Smash Bros. Ultimate representation. When asked how the partnership with Nintendo came about, Moldenhauer explained:
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have kicked off a special distribution for a Shiny Clefairy. This comes in celebration of the Pokemon Championships Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Phillipines.
The Clefairy being provided is based on the one used by Jirawiwat Thitasiri, who won the 2021 Pokemon Asia Players Cup. It knows the moves Protect, Helping Hand, Follow Me, and Icy Wind. Additionally, it comes in at level 50 and is holding the Eviolite item.
Final Vendetta just landed on Switch this week, and lots of gameplay from the side-scrolling beat ’em up title is available. 19 minutes of footage is available in total.
Here’s some information about the game:
According to Sonic boss Takashi Iizuka, Sonic Frontiers should almost be considered as the series’ “third generation”. Additionally, the title should be thought of as the “next step for the next 10 years.”
Iizuka shared these comments in an interview with GamesBeat. The site asked about Sonic fans and whether it can be scary showing off a new game. That led him to point out how the first generation of Sonic was classic with its side-scrolling gameplay, followed by modern gameplay starting with Sonic Adventure. SEGA is now thinking about the long-term future of the franchise, which is where Sonic Frontiers comes in.
Neon White debuted on Switch this week, and we now have new gameplay from the first-person action platformer. Fans can check out 42 minutes of footage.

Another collaboration for Minecraft is here, with the game just now revealing that it’s teaming up with Lightyear – as in Buzz Lightyear. This comes hot on the heels of the new Lightyear movie from Disney.
With the DLC, players can experience Buzz’s origin story and help him navigate an alien planet after an unfortunate crash landing. Five missions are featured, including a hostile jungle, a swamp, and a mine, plus various alien settlements. Players will be tasked with navigating the terrain while fighting enemies and several bosses using various gadgets. It’s also possible to fly different aircraft and avoid obstacles to safely get to your next objective between missions.
