Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium could be announced soon, based on a new rating. The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea just recently added in a classification for the title. While it was rated specifically for PC, the original Capcom Arcade Stadium ended up on multiple platforms, including Switch – that would likely happen with the “sequel” as well.

In an interview we translated last year, the team behind Capcom Arcade Stadium indicated that it had more plans in the future. It now seems that a whole new release is on the way with its own set of classics.

Last year, the multiplayer party game Lumberhill was announced for Switch. It was originally slated for a 2021 release, but that ultimately didn’t happen.

All In! Games and 2BIGo now have a new, final release date for the title. As was announced today, it’ll be out on April 15, 2022.

Original (3/23): The next Tour to be featured in Mario Kart Tour has been announced to be the Yoshi Tour. A new course, N64 Yoshi Valley, will be added to the game along with what seems to be Gold Egg Hunt Yoshi and White Birdo drivers and karts. Additionally, as it is the 2.5 year anniversary of the game, a free 45 rubies are being gifted to players, with an additional 18 obtainable by completing challenges.

The Yoshi Tour is set to start on April 5, 2022 at 10pm PST.

Niantic has put out a new version 42.0 update for Pikmin Bloom on iOS and Android. The update adds some small quality of life improvements, focusing mainly on expedition items.

Publisher Versus Evil and developer Nighthouse Games have announced that Sockventure will launch on Switch eShop on April 14th. The game was previously released on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Game Store last year. Find out more about the game below:

Pokemon Masters EX has started what appears to be an April Fool’s Day event. This event has an outbreak of Ditto that are taking over the Pokemon Center. Logging in during this event will reward players with 1,000 gems and more information can be gained from investigating the Ditto in the game.

This is a one day event and will end on April 1, 2022 at 10:59pm PT.

Overlord: Escape from Nazarick has been given a final release date. As announced by publisher Kadokawa Corporation and developer ENGINES, the title will arrive on June 16, 2022.

Overlord: Escape from Nazarick was previously confirmed for 2022 on Switch. However, today is the first time we’re hearing about a concrete date.

Astebros, a 16-bit roguelite with platforming elements, has been confirmed for Switch after receiving full funding on Kickstarter. Neofid Studios managed to raise over €50,000 and the campaign still has several days remaining. It’s worth noting that the project will be appearing on the SEGA Genesis as well.

Astebros lets players control three heroes (knight, ranger, and mage) as they explore a new continent with randomly generated dungeons in a variety of environments. The game loop involves exploring and collecting materials to upgrade equipment. Multiplayer is also fully supported, and the difficulty automatically adjusts when playing with a friend.
