Jump Force is coming to an end, with Bandai Namco announcing that it will no longer make the game available for purchase. The base game, DLC, and virtual currency will be taken offline on February 7, 2022 at 5 PM PT and 8 PM ET. This applies to all versions of the game, including Switch.

Bandai Namco is also pulling the plug on online servers as of August 24, 2022. All single players content can still be accessed along with PVP battles (except for the Ranked Match mode).

Hamster has been bringing classic arcade titles to the Switch eShop with its Arcade Archives label, a growing collection of games that includes many retro titles from a variety of publishers spanning games made from the 80s to the 90s. The company has just announced that the latest entry to this series will be Arcade Archives Libble Rabble, below are some details from the International Arcade Museum.

  • Onslaught event A Dazzling Defense started Nov. 10 at 10 PM PT!
  • In the onslaught event A Dazzling Defense, there’s a dragon battle that pits you against Astral Tartarus. Get exquisite honey, flame tomes, and light tomes as glory rewards. Plus, there are more rewards to be earned from endeavors and the Treasure Trade!
  • A new story in the A Dazzling Defense event starts Nov. 10, 10 PM PT! After receiving a letter from a concerned citizen of Littleton, the prince and friends arrive to find Jupiter defending the daughter of the former mayor in a court of law.
  • Kamuy’s Trial, Chthonius’s Trial, and Mars’s Trial became available in Trials of the Mighty in Dragalia Lost on Nov. 9, 10 PM PT. Use teams of specific adventurers to earn materials for unlocking mana spirals from the daily bonus.

The SEGA Genesis shooter Gynoug is about to make its return with an upcoming launch on Switch, and we now have some gameplay. Fans can check out 15 minutes of footage in the first look video.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is putting an end to new in-game events featuring the Spirit Board and tournaments, Nintendo has announced. Prior activities will be recycled starting on November 19.

Nintendo has been hosting various events for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for awhile now. Arguably the highlight has been the addition of new spirits, as you never knew who would show up and taking them on in battle brought a new wrinkle to the game.

The remakes of the fourth Pokemon generation are finally arriving on Switch next week – specifically November 19 – with Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, they are not exactly what we expected. The Pokemon Company opted for a different approach this time with a faithful remake that’s really close to the original titles on DS, with a small number of quality of life improvements.

The announcement of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl initially saw a mixed reception by fans – myself included. After watching some of the trailers over the past few months, I feel as though the general opinion is gaining a bit more positivity, though people are still cautiously hyped.

Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of November 18, 2021. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

A new physical release for Narita Boy is in the cards, Limited Run Games has announced in partnership with Team17 and Studio Koba.

Fans can choose between a standard copy or the collector’s edition. The latter version includes a poster, a cassette soundtrack, a techno sword pin, and a floppy disk.
