Total physical and digital sales for Disgaea have now reached the 5 million milestone. Worldwide, the series has seen moderate success with physical and digital titles included in the total. Publisher and developer Nippon Ichi Software commemorated the event by cutting the price of certain games in the franchise on the eShop in Japan. Notably, newer title Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is also included in the price cuts. Check out the sales details below:

Stemming from today’s Nintendo leaks and the overall “gigaleak”, an internal company document has been spotted that reveals plans for early games on Wii – and projects that were cancelled.
To say the least, there are some very interesting titles listed. One of the highlights is a Metroid game from Intelligent Systems, which would have launched after Metroid Prime. It also appears that a sequel to Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix was once being considered.

Atlus just published its first news video for Shin Megami Tensei V. It covers new characters Tao Isonokami, Yuzuru Atsuta, Ichiro Dazai, and Miyazu Atsuta. We’re also introduced to a few battle features.

We just heard that Nintendo is adding the SNES titles Claymates, Jelly Boy, and Bombuzal to Switch Online next week. As is usually the case, the selection is different in Japan.
Japan will still be getting Bombuzal just like the west. However, instead of Claymates and Jelly Boy, the region is receiving Shin Megami Tensei If… and Dead Dance (Tuff E Nuff). Tuff E Nuff previously appeared in the west last December.

Nintendo has announced the latest event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which will tie into the Spirit Board. We have a bone theme this time around. Defeat them to earn more gold than usual.
The new Spirit Board event begins on July 23. It will last for a total of three days.
Three new SNES games are joining the Nintendo Switch Online library next week, Nintendo has announced. Claymates, Jelly Boy, and Bombuzal are all appearing on the service.
Typically we see at least one new NES addition. However, that won’t be happening this time around.

Super Bomberman R Online has been downloaded over three million times, Konami has announced.
Konami is celebrating that mark with a special reward. Those who play Super Bomberman R by July 25 can receive 500 Bomber Coins.
Super Bomberman R Online is available now on the Switch eShop as a free-to-play game. It released for the console back in May.
