KaleidoGames today announced Slam and Roll, and confirmed plans for release on Switch. An unnamed publisher will be bringing it to the console later this year.

Dear Villagers and WildArts Studio have announced a new update for Born of Bread.

Highlights of the update include QoL improvements and a new Hard Mode that may increase the replayability of the game. Some balancing adjustments are included as well.

Today, we’re once again continuing our coverage of Legendary Pokemon locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a Lugia location guide. In this game, returning Legendary Pokemon can only be accessed via the Indigo Disk DLC.

Lugia and Ho-Oh are Generation II’s signature Legendary Pokemon. Unlike previous games in the series where Ho-Oh and Lugia were available, neither of them are version exclusive this time around. Like all of the other Legendary Pokemon in the Indigo Disk, you can only access Lugia from an NPC named Snacksworth – who for some reason is capable of summoning Legendary Pokemon to Paldea.

Astral Ascent just issued a new version 1.2 update.

There are a few notable things here, including 20 new Hero Spells and PvP Arena in local co-op mode. Other aspects include telescope offline working everywhere now, various small changes, and more.

RedDeerGames, along with 3S Design, announced today that Wira & Taksa is receiving a Switch release. Look fir it on February 23, 2024.

Wira & Taksa is a gravity platformer in which one character specializes in using the Iron Hammer to take down enemies (but has limited speed) while the other is faster and more dynamic, which allows him to easily overcome tracks (though he’s not as strong). Rain Games today set a release date for the Switch version of Girl Genius: Adventures in Castle Heterodyne and also made a physical release official.

The game will launch via the eShop on April 3, 2024. Additionally, it’s been announced that Rain Games is partnering with PM Studios on a physical version. Different goodies will be included in the Genius Edition – specifically an art book, pin, stickers, poster, standee, and a digital download for the original soundtrack. The physical version arrives on May 7.

Spike Chunsoft shared another round of details for Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island today, this time covering the Peach Bun mechanic and more monsters. New screenshots have been released as well.

Publisher Super Rare Games, along with developer Bynine Studios, today confirmed that they’ll be releasing Cavern of Dreams on Switch. It’s slated for February 29, 2024.

At its core, Cavern of Dreams is a N64-style 3D platformer. Players will be able to gain new abilities, meet unique characters, solve puzzles, and more.
