Firesprite Games has dated its sci-fi horror experience The Persistence for Switch. It’ll be out digitally on May 21, the developer has confirmed. The physical version “will be as near as possible to the digital release taking into account the effect of COVID 19 on global retail.”

Monolith Soft is refreshing the soundtrack for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition by remastering and re-recording almost all of the music. Today, Nintendo shared a sample of the redone version of Colony 9. We have that below.

Pokemon developer Game Freak has had one of its employees test positive for the coronavirus, the company said in a statement today. Despite that news, the company will be able to continue working without interruption.

Game Freak noted that as of January, it has taken various measures to prevent infection. Additionally, all staff have been working from home since April 1.
