Alongside today’s new Cindered Shadows DLC, Fire Emblem: Three Houses has received its latest update. Nintendo is now distributing version 1.2.0 .

Below are the full patch notes:

Fire Emblem: Three Houses has just released Cindered Shadows as its new major piece of DLC. It’s out now for all Expansion Pass owners.

In the DLC, players can take on a complete side story that is separate from the main game. They’ll be able to explore Abyss, which lies beneath the monastery. Cindered Shadows also features four new characters from the secret Ashen Wolves house, new quests, activities, paralogues, and classes.

Yesterday, we reported that some Pokemon Sword/Shield players were encountering Pokemon that haven’t been officially released through raids and the Surprise Trade feature. Unfortunately, the situation can cause substantial issues.

Reports are surfacing regarding a bug that can crash your game if you receive a maliciously crafted Pokemon through Surprise Trade. Not only does it crash when attempting to access access online features (via Y-COM), but you may be unable to participate in online interactions.

Some fans have been told to be extra cautious and avoid Surprise Trade until a patch is distributed. It’s unclear when that could happen, as Nintendo has yet to offer a comment about these hacked Pokemon.

One could argue that E3 is in a state of flux with certain companies such as Sony deciding not to attend, the transition to make it a more consumer-focused event, and the ESA needing to gain back trust after it pulled a series of blunders including leaking information about members of the media in 2019. Still, the show goes on, and preparations are underway.

Like previous years, Nintendo will be attending this year’s expo. “Several leading video game companies have already committed to participating in E3 2020, including Xbox, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Bethesda Softworks, SEGA, Capcom, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive Software, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., and Warner Bros. Games, among others,” the ESA said in a statement.
