Limited Run Games has secured yet another indie game for physical release. The musical platformer Wandersong will have its own physical edition, the company has announced.
Wandersong originally launched on the Switch eShop last September.
8BitDo has yet another controller in store for Switch. Announced today is the 8BitDo Lite, “an ultra-portable controller made for 2D games and more.” It will be offered in yellow and turquoise colors to match the Switch Lite.
In addition to Switch, the 8BitDo Lite also works with Windows, macOS, and Android. It features customizable Turbo functionality, wireless play, USB-C input, and a rechargeable Lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
The 8BitDo Lite is tentatively planned for the end of October at a price point of $24.99. Pre-orders are open on Amazon here.

The Pokemon Company has announced that it will host a 24-hour live stream for Pokemon Sword/Shield featuring the Luminous Maze Forest. Various Pokemon will be shown, but all that’s known at present.
The stream will go live at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe on October 4. We have an embed of the broadcast below.
The platformer Skybolt Zack will arrive on Switch next month, publisher Green Man Gaming and developer Devs Must Die have announced. It’ll be out via the eShop on October 24. Prior to that, a demo will be made available on October 4.

A poster for the new Pokemon anime series has popped up on Japanese message boards. Although not from an official source, it definitely looks legit. Other details about this new series had also previously leaked online. The official reveal of the new series is this Sunday, so we should know for sure by then. As you can see, the poster shows Ash and Pikachu, as well as a new male character and Scorbunny. Also featured in the background are several other Pokemon and iconic landmarks from the Pokemon world, as this series is set to take place in all regions of the Pokemon world, in addition to the new region of Galar. The series is set to start on November 17 in Japan.
