Pokemon Sword/Shield has received its new “Get Ready for Dynamax” trailer from today’s Pokemon Direct. You can watch it below.

During today’s Pokemon Direct, a final release date for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield was announced. The two titles will be launching on November 15.

Legendary Pokemon Zacian and Zamazenta will star on the boxart, as shown above. A double pack containing both versions is also planned.

A couple of new features for Pokemon Sword/Shield were introduced during today’s Pokemon Direct.

First up is Dynamax where Pokemon turn into much bigger versions of themselves with more powerful moves. However, they only work once per battle and it lasts three turns.

Max Raid Battles are also in Pokemon Sword/Shield. This multiplayer feature will let players battle together in taking on Dynamax Pokemon.

Pokemon Sword/Shield has revealed new Wild Area. Different Pokemon can appear depending on where you are and what the weather is like.

While adventuring in this area, players will have control over the camera. This will allow players to better search for Pokemon and items.

A new batch of Pokemon for Pokemon Sword/Shield was revealed during today’s Pokemon Direct. Wooloo, Gossifleur, Drednaw, Corviknight, and Eldegoss will all be in the game. Eldegoss is an evolution of Gossifleur.

Here’s the rundown of each new creature:

Today’s Pokemon Direct will be beginning in just an hour. Expect it to kick off at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe. Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be receiving new information during the 15-minute presentation.

The first-person puzzle-platformer Neon Junctions will be appearing on Switch this week, publisher Ratalaika Games and developer 9 Eyes Game Studio have announced. A release is planned for June 7.

Publisher Wild River and developer THREAKS have announced Battle Planet: Judgement Day, a rogue-lite, top-down shooter. The game is in development for Switch and other platforms.

One of the newer Arcade Archives titles we heard about for Switch is Solomon’s Key. Hamster has now confirmed a worldwide release of the game, with its launch planned for all major territories on June 6.
