A listing on the eShop shows that IHUGU will be landing on Switch next week. The memory game, which is intended to “promote peace and positivity,” is slated for January 24.
Though IHUGU has been released on other platforms, the Switch version has an exclusive competitive multiplayer mode. Also included is a character editor and more.
The VLC media player has been around for ages, serving as a top media player primarily for PCs. However, it could expand into a completely different area. Jean-Baptiste Kempf, the president and lead developer of VideoLan, told VentureBeat that he’s thinking about bringing VLC to Switch.
The move wouldn’t be entirely unprecedented, as VLC can be downloaded right now on another gaming platform – that being the Xbox One. However, it would certainly be interesting to see it arrive on a Nintendo console as well.

A new update has gone live for Smoke and Sacrifice on Switch today that adds new content. Curve Digital and Sand Sailor Studio have added the BACON storyline, which features “more freedom and options, including the ability to possess the gruesome creatures of the underworld with the Possession Wand; an ancient piece of technology which allows Sachi to become the very thing she’s been fighting.”
Smoke and Sacrifice can be found on the Switch eShop. Curve Digital published the title last May.
Onimusha: Warlords is available on Switch today in North America and Europe. Capcom issued a new launch trailer, which we have below.
Hell Warders will be missing its original January 17 launch. Due to “some minor issues,” the game is experiencing a delay.
Publisher PQube says it “will announce a firm and solid release date within the next couple of weeks along with further exciting details”. We’ll let you know when we have that information.
