As we approach the end of the week, Super Mario Run is bringing back one of its past events. The Weekend Spotlight: Bowser’s Minions event is currently live in the game. While active, Bowser’s minions will be featured as the items players can earn in Remix 10’s Super Bonus Game.

It’s been announced that the soundtrack for Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country will be receiving a digital release. iTunes and Amazon will both have the OST starting December 14. Note that it will only be offered in countries where the game is sold.

Since the announcement of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee, some fans have questioned if the titles could be viewed as a spin-offs. However, in a new interview with director Junichi Masuda, he made it clear that it wasn’t the case. Masuda mentioned in the game’s official Japanese strategy title that the new Switch games “aren’t spin-offs” and are instead “core Pokemon titles.”

Masuda also addressed the possibility of having future Pokemon entries be compatible with Pokemon GO. He explained that if the functionality is well received in Pokemon: Let’s Go, “then we’ll think about maybe having future titles also be able to connect to it.”

Campo Santo announced Firewatch for Switch earlier this year. Today, the studio nailed down a release date.

Firewatch launches for Switch on December 17. Campo Santo intends to release the game in the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Japan.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and its standalone expansion have been updated. The main game now sits at version 2.0.2 while Torna – The Golden Country is at version 1.0.2.

Thus far we’re aware of one interesting addition. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mythra appears as a Spirit. However, she’ll have a slightly different look, as pictured below:
