The latest Persona Q2 character trailer is here, and it focuses on Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4:

A new set of quests is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. As their name implies, these Movement type quests require you to defeat five enemies of each color using Heroes of each of the four movement types (infantry, armored, cavalry and flier). The rewards include orbs, feathers, arena medals and more. The quests will be available for two weeks.

Also, the current Voting Gauntlet event has entered its final round, with Linde facing off against Reinhardt.

The director of Nintendo’s latest mobile game Dragalia Lost delivered a message to players involving character upgrade materials. Players also receive 50,000 mana, 100,000 rupies, and 30 gold crystals. Here’s the full message:

To everyone playing Dragalia Lost,

Nice to meet you.

My name is Maatsura, and I’m the director of the game.

Thank you for the time you’ve spent playing Dragalia Lost.

It’s been a little over a month since the game released on 9/27, and I hope you’ve been enjoying it.

The raid event Kindness and Captivity is currently running, and we’ve implemented all kinds of adjustments based on your feedback and gameplay of October’s raid event, Loyalty’s Requiem. You can find the details of these adjustments in the update notifications, so I hope you get a chance to check them out.

As things stand currently, it will still take some time before the game balance reaches the level envisioned by the development team. We’ll continue using your feedback to help us get to that ;ling.

I know you’re all having fun leveling up the different adventurers and trying out different team formations, and since I’d like you all to read each of these characters stories to the very end, we’re looking into ways to make adjustments for you to raise characters from level 1 up to the midpoint of their max level.

In order for that to happen, we’ll be making some adjustments to how character-upgrade materials (such as rupies, mana, and crystals) work and how much of each you’ll need to perform upgrades. It may take some time before these adjustments become reality, but we like to think it will all be worth the wait.

We’ll have details on this in an update sometimes later this mont.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate remains the most wanted Nintendo title, with Persona Q2 following just a bit behind.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between October 18 and October 24.

Nintendo has posted another update to the Smash Bros. Blog for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, we have an introduction to Ken.

Here’s his overview:

PAX Aus 2018 has been and gone for another year and us gamers will now go back to playing the game we know best – the waiting game. Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to chat with some folks who made it down to Australia’s largest gaming convention. This interview is with Julian Trutmann and Nick Cooper, from Drastic Games; developers of the up and coming Soundfall. Soundfall is a rhythm driven dungeon crawler that is procedurally generated to your music.
Please enjoy the interview!

Music is prominent in our day to day lives because of the amount of emotions it can give us. Whether it’s sadness, happiness, anger – it can illicit memories and induce feelings, creating moments that stay with you for the rest of time and take you out of the moment and into another space. For musicians, this is a lifestyle, not just a hobby, and the wonderful thing about games like Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Dance Dance Revolution is that they make feeling like a musician – regardless of whether you have talent or an affinity for instruments and the craft – a lot more accessible to the masses by handing them peripherals to make the immersion that much more real. With Gal Metal, no peripherals are needed, as your life as a drummer begins as soon as you pick up your Joy-Con and start tapping away with the motion, hitting at imaginary drums as you try to save the world from an alien invasion with the power of metal. It’s a lot of fun when it feels good, however the accuracy, timing, and calibration more often than not are off-tempo, even if you’re not, making it for an imaginative but somewhat lackluster experience.

Ennui Studio announced today that it is bringing the 2.5D platformer Tyr: Chains of Valhalla to Switch. A release is planned for Q1 2019.

Here’s an overview for the game, along with a trailer:
