ARMS will be receiving a new update tomorrow, Nintendo has announced. The game will be updated to version 5.3.
Like usual, Nintendo is being a bit mysterious as to what the patch will entail. We’ll be sure to bring you the full details when the update goes live tomorrow.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door initially saw its debut 13 years ago. Even after such a lengthy period of time, the game held one random yet neat secret that apparently wasn’t discovered until today.
Did you know that Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has a debug code? If you enter XBRBYL on the title screen, you’ll enter debug mode. It doesn’t do anything overly special, but when you hold Z on the main menu after inputting the code, it’ll show the date the game was built. Crash reports when the game crashes will be enabled as well.
This Thursday, Kemco will be bringing Asdivine Hearts – one of its various RPGs – to the Switch eShop. We have a trailer below.
A listing on the eShop shows a new Switch title from Righteous Weasel Games. Later this week, the developer will be bringing out Eternal Edge.
Eternal Edge, a new action adventure RPG, follows the young hero Cross on a quest to defeat the Skeleton King. “Gear up with powerful weapons, epic armor, and hidden spells to journey across the vast lands of the Little Kingdom and free its inhabitants from a long reign of evil,” the listing states.
Eternal Edge will be out on April 12 for $20.00. We have a few screenshots below.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion was announced several months ago, but we haven’t seen any footage from the game. That recently changed when Amazon France posted a pre-alpha video.
Here’s the video as uploaded to YouTube:
It should be noted that since the footage is pre-alpha, it’s not entirely representative of the final product. Still, it gives us a general look at Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion in motion, the voice acting, and more.
Towards the end of last week, Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud launched for Switch in Japan. We have a bunch of footage via the video below.
Dark Souls: Remastered will be receiving a new collector’s edition guide, according to a listing on Amazon. Future Press is handling the book’s release.
At well over 400 pages, the Dark Souls: Remastered Collector’s Edition Guide “brings everything there is to know about the world of Lordran together in one place.” That means updated data and strategies, new sections, and much more.
One of the major elements of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is the different game worlds you’ll travel to. Lately we’ve seen Electronic Thunder Tiger II from the recent playable demos. In an interview with Gematsu, director Suda51 outlined the other worlds that will be included.
Suda51 shared the following:
With The Bunker landing on the Switch eShop today, Wales Interactive has gone live with an official launch trailer. You can see it below.
Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion launches sometime this summer. When will it happen exactly? Currently Nintendo has yet to say. However, the German Facebook page for Splatoon may have let the cat out of the bag early.
For a brief while, an image appeared on the Facebook page showing a release date of July 13. Nintendo took down the image shortly after fans took notice.
The question is, was this a mistake or an accidental announcement? We do know that the new Pearl and Marina amiibo are due for July 13, so having the Octo Expansion ready on the same day might make sense. Note that nothing is officially confirmed at this time.
