Nintendo has just released the latest system update for Switch. Version 4.1.0 is now available.

Today’s update includes general system stability improvements. These include the resolution of an issue “that caused motion controls to respond incorrectly when playing games that use the feature”.

WWE 2K18 is just a couple of days away from hitting Switch. 2K has announced that the game is slated for December 6.

By pre-ordering the physical version of WWE 2K18, fans can receive two playable versions of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle: his WWE “American Hero” persona (2001) and his ECW “Wrestling Machine” persona (2006). Digital copies will come with the Kurt Angle pack at no extra cost through December 13.

Had history taken a different direction, the first Resident Evil could have ended up as a very different game. Capcom’s Koji Oda told Game Informer that it was originally in development for the SNES.

Some of you may know that Resident Evil was inspired by the horror title Sweet Home, and was a spiritual successor of sorts. It makes sense then that it started off on the SNES. But as Oda mentioned, when the PlayStation came into the picture, Capcom shifted to that platform.

Mega Man 11

The Mega Man 30th anniversary celebration live stream has concluded, but it wasn’t without some big announcements. Of course, the biggest news is the brand new Mega Man 11 for Switch and other platforms. Capcom is also bringing Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 to Switch along with all Mega Man X titles.

Capcom only just announced Mega Man 11 today, but it looks like we can look forward to a whole bunch of news very soon. It was revealed during today’s 30th anniversary live stream for the series that the game is featured in this month’s issue of Game Informer. Along with the cover treatment, we’ll be hearing much more about Mega Man 11.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are in the works for Switch, Capcom announced during its 30th anniversary live stream celebration for the series. Both will support amiibo.

The original Mega Man Legacy Collection came to 3DS in 2016. However, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 hasn’t been available on any Nintendo system – until now.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will launch for Switch sometime in Summer 2018.

During its Mega Man 30th anniversary celebration live stream, Capcom revealed Mega Man 11, and it’s coming to Switch. The game is slated for late 2018.

All of the Mega Man X games are coming to Switch, Capcom has announced. The eight titles will be released on Nintendo’s console during Mega Man’s 30th anniversary.

Aside from the initial announcement, no further information was provided.
