Nintendo produces a special handbook for company employees each year. For us, the highlight is undoubtedly the amazing art and other images included inside.
We now have a look at the 2018 version. You can check out a few photos in the gallery below.
We may as well mention that some folks are speculating about Nintendo possibly showing designs for upcoming Super Mario Odyssey costumes in one of the pages. It remains to be seen if that’s the case, but at least the art is lovely.
Another Splatfest in Splatoon has come to an end. The latest event was particularly interesting as the same theme was held in both North America and Europe, and the results were combined.
Nintendo asked players what came first: the chicken or the egg. Team Egg was more popular, but Team Chicken had a higher winning percentage for both solo and team battles. Because of that, Team Egg prevailed by a score of 2 – 1.

Limited Run Games has announced a few games for Switch thus far. Saturday Morning RPG, Mercenary Kings, and Flinthook will all be receiving physical releases.
It sounds like another announcement should be made tomorrow. This will be Limited Run Games’ first Switch game for a March 30 release.

During the new Nintendo Direct this week, SEGA announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud is heading to Switch in Japan on April 4. The new website has now opened here.
On the site, SEGA confirms that Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud takes up 40MB of space on Switch. As the name implies, everything runs through the cloud – hence the very small file size.
The popular survival psychological game Outlast recently landed on Switch. Its sequel, Outlast 2, also arrives later this month.
Bringing both of these titles to Switch looks to have gone very well for developer Red Barrels. On his LinkedIn profile, programmer Mathieu Gauthier indicates that Outlast 1 and 2 were ported “from scratch” in just “a matter of weeks”.
Inti Creates has posted another gameplay video for Gal*Gun 2, now with Ubisoft’s PR manager from Japan. You can watch it below.
This week, Nintendo posted two more behind the scenes videos for the recording of Super Mario Odyssey’s music. We have videos for Steam Gardens and Fossil Falls below.

Last month, we heard that Oh… Sir! The Hollywood Roast had been pulled from the North American Switch eShop. Now Good Shephard Entertainment has clarified why.
As we’ve seen with a few titles in the past, the game’s removal can be attributed to a ratings update.Good Shephard Entertainment confirmed on Twitter:
Oh…Sir! The Hollywood Roast is temporarily unavailable on the Nintendo Switch due to a ratings update. Thank you for the patience. Your mother will let you know when we start up the insults again 😉
— Good Shepherd Entertainment (@GoodShepherdEnt) March 5, 2018
It’s been over a month since Oh… Sir! The Hollywood Roast was removed, so we assume it won’t be much longer until it returns.
Thanks to James M for the tip.
